My Story
I got into the mortgage industry 6 years ago during the COVID refi boom — when rates hit historic lows and just about every homeowner in America was looking to refinance. It was a crash course in volume, speed, and what it means to help people make one of the biggest financial decisions of their lives under a tight timeline.
When rates normalized and the refi market cooled, a lot of people left the industry. I doubled down. I made the move to become an independent mortgage broker, which means I now work with multiple wholesale lenders instead of being tied to one bank's products. That shift changed everything — it meant I could actually shop for my clients instead of just selling them whatever my employer happened to offer that day.
Today I operate under Mountain Goat Mortgage LLC and focus on helping Florida homebuyers, homeowners, and real estate investors find competitive loan options with clear guidance and no runaround.
